Kathy McNulla Stearns, 77, passed away Wednesday, June 28, 2023, surrounded by friends and family, at her home in Ferrisburgh. She was born January 17, 1946, in Burlington, the daughter of James and Kathleen Norton McNulla.
Kathy enjoyed reading mystery novels, listening to music, and spending time at her lakeside camp.
She was predeceased by her husband Leonard (Sonny) Stearns on January 21, 2009, and her daughter, Deborah Stearns on June 16, 2018.
Kathleen is survived by her son, Rick and his children, Jordan, Allyson, Jeffrey, and Tucker, as well as her son Rob and his wife, Michelle and their son, Jack.
Special thanks to Elaine, Doris, Tammie, Helen, Sylvia, and Penny whose care and love helped her to remain active and in her home.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 8th from 10 to 11 a.m. at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 8th at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Addison County Home Health & Hospice, P.O. Box 754, Middlebury, Vermont 05753.

While she lived a good long life, I am sorry to hear of Kathy’s passing, she was a lovely woman. My deepest condolences to all the family.
