Francis E. Provoncha, 81, passed away Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at Helen Porter Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center in Middlebury.
He was born on September 20, 1934 in Monkton the son of Ernest and Theresa (LaBier) Provoncha.
He was a farmer in Monkton for many years. In the early 70’s he started driving truck for various businesses. He was a on the school board and was a lister in the town of Monkton. He moved to Bristol to retire in 1998.
Francis is survived by his wife Marion Provoncha of Bristol; three children Shirley Provoncha of Bristol, Mark Provoncha of Florida, and Judy Goodrich of Monkton; a grandson Matthew Goodrich; and a sister Kathlyn Vaughn of Florida.
A memorial service will be held 10 a.m. on Tuesday, September 6th at St. Ambrose Church in Bristol. Interment will be in Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol.
