Jack Albert Danyow age 84 passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022 peacefully in the comfort of his home in Vergennes with his family by his side.

Jack was born on January 21, 1938 in North Ferrisburgh Vermont at the E.O. Danyow cash store.

Jack loved his family, friends, stamp collecting, trains, and photography. Jack is a member of the 251 club, Vermont philatelic society, The Rutland Railroad Society, and a long standing member of the community Lutheran church located in South Burlington Vermont. 

Jack was an industrial engineer for 28 years at the Shelburne corporation located in Shelburne Vermont. Prior to the Shelburne corporation Jack worked for Motorola in Phoenix, Arizona where he met the love of his life Lee.

 Jack was predeceased by his parents Edward and Lydia Danyow, and his brother Sydney Danyow.                       

Jack is survived by his wife Lee Danyow, a sister Ilean Dennis, his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, and his cherished dog Oatis. 

The family welcomes you to join them in celebrating Jack’s life at the Brown McClay Funeral Homes, 48 South Maple Street, Vergennes, Vermont 05491. Calling hours are on Friday, May 6th from 6:00-8:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 7th  at the funeral home. Interment will be at North Ferrisburgh Cemetery. A dinner will follow at the American Legion, 100 Armory Lane, Vergennes, Vermont 05491.
