I would like to offer my condolences to Mariann’s family. I worked with Mariann at The Orton Family Foundation, and I have such fond memories of her as a colleague and friend. She was always upbeat and concerned for her fellow workers. Her sense of humor was appreciated, as was her down-to-earth approach to getting things done. I have no doubt that she will be sorely missed by friends and family.

I was really sorry to learn of Marianne’s death. Marianne and I worked together at the Orton Family Foundation for a number of years. She was such a hard working, caring, salt-of-the-earth person. She had a great sense of humor, never got ruffled and was very loyal to the Foundation and all the people she worked with. I know how much she loved her sisters and extended family. She was a gem and will be missed to be sure. Bill Roper Weybridge,VT
