Sunny F. Sumner,85, passed away Monday, September 30, 2019 at Porter Medical Center in Middlebury.
He was born January 28, 1934 in Bristol the son of Berley and Anna (Hallock) Sumner.
He was a member of Victory Baptist Church. He enjoyed watching New York Yankees and New York Giants Games on TV as well as golf.
Sunny is survived by his wife Marion; five children Michael, Sandy, Jerry, Frank and Brian; six grandchildren; a great grandson; his brother Philip and wife Lucille Sumner; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by five sisters Barbara, Beatrice, Marjorie, Katherine and Betty; four brothers Stanley, Tex, Stuart and Tracy; a grandson Billy; and a niece Crystal Lee Sumner.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, October 7th at Victory Baptist Church, 862 US Route 7, Vergennes, VT. Burial will be at a later date.
