Albert Van De Weert, 81, of Ferrisburgh, VT passed on to his heavenly home on Wednesday, July 20, 2016.
He was born October 6, 1934 in Paterson, NJ. He moved with his family from Warwick, NY to their dairy farm in Ferrisburgh in 1965.
He was a member of the New Haven United Reformed Church.
Albert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Ada (Elzinga) Van De Weert and five children: Shari (Adriaan) Verburg, Tim (Ellie Beltrani), Rick, Lisa (John) Evarts, and Jean Entingh, two daughters-in-law: Marilyn Evans and Emily Van De Weert, and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. He was predeceased by two sons: Ken in 2003 and Don in 2006. He will be greatly missed by his family and many friends.
Funeral services will be held 10 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26th at Champlain Valley Christian Reformed Church in Vergennes. Interment will be in Prospect Cemetery in Vergennes.
