Barbara (Myrtle) Mason, 67, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2016 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born February 17, 1949 in Lincoln the daughter of George and Etta (Flemings) Martell.
I am going to listen to your heart she said “you think I have a heart?” I said, (Star) “mom, we all know you have a huge heart, that’s why you got a kids size 2 foot because the lord put so much into your huge heart your feet got the smaller end of the deal!”
Barbara’s hobbies were cooking, sewing, crocheting, fishing, and garage sales. She loved to spend time with her grandchildren, family and friends. Also, she enjoyed Karokee and the fiddlers.
Barbara is survived by her four children, Penny and Douglas Dow, April and Bill Orvis, Wendell Mason, Star and Tony Porter and survived by the father of her children Joseph Mason; 10 grandchildren, 3 sisters, a brother and special brother Lawrence and several nieces and nephews and special cousin Joyce.
Predeceased by her parents and five siblings.
Celebration of life will be at a later date.
