Clarence W. Owen, 69, passed away Monday, May 23, 2016 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born January 15, 1947 in Bristol the son of Claude and Ruth (Sargent) Owen.
He was president of Champlain Valley Flyers, hand radio operator and a mechanic for over thirty years and worked at Burlington Subaru.
Clarence is survived by his wife of 31years Marcia Owen; five children Stacey Babcock and Husband Henry, Eric and Paula Owen, David Owen and Michelle, Paul Tipper and Adam and Tammy Tipper; seven grandchildren; a great granddaughter.
Predeceased by his parents and a son Christopher.
A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. on Tuesday, May 31st  at Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol with a reception following at the house, 11 Fitch Ave. Bristol, VT. Donations may be made to Champlain Valley Flyers, 11 Fitch Ave. Bristol, VT
