Darwin H. Kimball, 60, passed away Sunday, July 3, 2016 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born April 7, 1956 in Middlebury the son of Robert and Rita (Menard) Kimball.
He was honorary Assistant Chief at Bristol Fire Department and a member since September 2, 1981. He was also a member of the Addison County Eagles Club #3801 in Vergennes.
Darwin is survived by his wife of 38 years Lucille (Cloutier) Kimball; two daughters Kristie Kimball and boyfriend Dan Laflin, Kathie Kimball, and son Jarrett Kimball; his mother Rita Kimball, a sister Roberta (Terry) Hier, his brothers Stephen (Penney) Kimball, Marcel (Sheryl) Kimball; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by his father Robert Kimball.
Calling hours will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 8th at Bristol Fire Station. A mass of Catholic burial will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9th at St. Ambrose Church in Bristol. Interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery in Bristol. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to N.H. Munsill Hose Hook & Ladder Company at PO Box 249, Bristol, VT 05443.
