David Michael Clodgo, 59, of Bristol passed peacefully on May 11, 2016 surrounded by his family.
David was born on January 11, 1957 to Alfred Jr. and Lucille (Collette) Clodgo in Vergennes. They moved to Bristol and David graduated from Mt. Abraham UHS in 1975.
Throughout the years, David worked for Drake & Smith, Bio-Tek Industries, and Supato Cheese.
David was an avid outdoorsman and loved hunting, fishing, and spending time with his friends and family. He had a kind heart and would do anything for anyone.
David is survived by his mother Lucille; brothers and sister & their significant others Stephen, Gary & Ann (Bushey), Larry & Margie (Long), Linda & her dog Sophie, and Joel & Rachael (Smith) as well as many nieces & nephews whom he adored. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles & cousins.
He was predeceased by his father Alfred J. Clodgo Jr.
Close friends and family may call from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol prior to Mass. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 14th at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Bristol. Burial will follow at Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery in Bristol. A celebration of David’s Life will be held in the St. Ambrose hall following the burial. All are Welcome. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Have A Heart Food Shelf at St. Ambrose Catholic Parish.
