Donald Lee Bessette Sr., 70, passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
He was born January 31, 1947 in South Burlington. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War from 1968 to 1974.
Donald is survived by three children, Donald L. Bessette II, Dawn Clark and husband Israel, Christopher Bessette; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; several brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, April 19th at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol from 6 to 8 p.m. A graveside service will be held 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 20th at Maple Cemetery in Lincoln.
