Earl R. Jackson 80 years old of Vergennes, Vermont passed away on May 25, 2016 at his home.
Earl was a very independent, strong man. He always had a quick wave and smile, especially to the neighbors Sherri, Robbie.
In his working years, Earl was the “best diesel mechanic” in Addison County (his words) for the 40 years he worked at Devine’s Sales and Service in Ferrisburgh with his bother Dave. Since retiring you could find him puttering on projects around the house. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed challenges.
Earl was predeceased by his son Mark Jackson, His parents William and Beatrice (Perkins) Jackson, two brothers, Russell Jackson, Billy Jackson, three sisters and their husbands, Harriet and Ernie Gordon, Dorothy and Bob Tracy, Betty and Stanley Sumner.
Earl is survived daughter Terry Jackson and her partner Don Welch, by a brother Dave Jackson and several nieces and nephews
