Gale “Tweet” Thompson, 69, passed away on Monday, April 11, 2016 at Living Well Care Home in Bristol.
He was born on July 1, 1946 in Kenton, Ohio the son of Gale Gordon Thompson and Kate Ward Clifford.
He attended Vergennes Union High School and was a meat cutter by trade.
Gale is survived by his mother Kate Clifford; 2 sons Robert and Joshua; 3 sisters Pamela Cross, Connie Gilbert and Patricia Neate; 2 brothers Mike Thompson and Charles Clifford; five grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 23rd at Victory Baptist Church in Vergennes. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Vergennes Area Rescue Squad, PO Box 11, Vergennes, VT 05491.
