Janette Mary Brileya Gendreau, 78, passed away March 30, 2016 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born June 6, 1937 in Orwell, VT the daughter Gilbert and Leona Allard Brileya.
She graduated from Whitehall High School in 1955 and the attended the school of cosmetology in Glenn Falls, NY. She took care of elderly people for many years.
Her husband Joseph predeceased her in 1990.
Janette is survived by her children Ted Brileya and girlfriend Sandy Huff, Kevin Gendreau and wife Sarah, Brian Gendreau, and Sherri Towery and husband Jeff; her grandchildren which were her pride and joy Nikki Brileya, Ethan, and Wyatt Gendreau, Cody and Channler Gendreau, and Haylee Towery; great grandson Matthew; her sisters Freida Beeman, Joyce Mattison; her brothers Robert, Chester, and Jack Brileya; several nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her sisters Doris Atwood and Rita Patterson, her brothers Roger, Donald and Wayne.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, April 8th at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Bristol from 5 to 8 p.m. A Celebration of life will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 9th at St Jude Catholic Church in Hinesburg.
