                Osborne, “Oz”, passed away peacefully at Lakeland Regional Medical Center on February 1, 2017.

                Oz, the son of Oscar and Daisy (Booska) LaFrance was born October 30, 1926 in Bristol. He is survived by his devoted wife of 69 years, Alfreda (Hagan) LaFrance of Lakeland, Florida. Ozzie and Freda called Lakeland their retired home place.

                He leaves his children: Virginia Moulton, Lakeland; Sandra (Paul) Krueger, Lakeland and Michael of Brandon, VT. His son, Osborne Joseph, predeceased Oz in March 2007.

                Grandchildren: Julie (Raymond) Hoppenworth; Jerry Moulton; Jennifer (Willie) Bivens, Star LaFrance (Braeden Mylott), Brittany and Zachary Trudeau. Predeceased by Jonathan Brown.

                Great-Grandchildren: Kaley Hoppenworth, Jordan and Haley Bivens and Aurora Mylott.

                Osborne loved his family, construction projects and his many years as a crane operator for Beck and Belluccui building bridges and maintaining roads throughout Vermont. He served in WWII. He was a Vermonter through and through. Florida was just a stop on his journey. His heart was always in Vermont with his favorite memories and great friendships with other fellow Vermonters.

                A graveside service will be held at Bristol’s MT. ST. Joseph’s Cemetery on June 3rd at 11 a.m. Deacon Tom Cass, St. Ambrose Catholic Church, officiating. Brown-McClay Funeral Homes providing burial services
