Phyllis (Mack) Marsceill, passed to the Lord on March 20, 2018. She was born in VERGENNES, Vermont on September 19, 1926, daughter of late GEORGE and DELLA (BOURDEAU) Mack.
She married George I. Marsceill on February 24, 1946. He predeceased her after 61 years of marriage on February 18, 2007.
Phyllis and George farmed for twenty –five years where she cooked for the family and the farm’s employees. She made all her own bread, pies and pastured milk every day. After raising her family, Phyllis began a new career as a Teacher’s Aide at Beeman Academy and Middlebury Elementary.
She was preceded in death by her brother, GEORGE CLIFFORD; and sisters, BARBARA SPOON, KATHERINE CARTER, and SHIRLEY MACK. Phyllis is survived by her sons, MICHAEL, DOUGLAS, and MARC; daughter, LYNN MCMARTIN; three grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
Phyllis and George were active members of ST. AMBROSE CHURCH, Bristol, VT.
A memorial service will be held at a later date and she will be interred next to her beloved husband, George, in Mt. St. Joseph Cemetery in Vermont.
