Sally A. Munnett, 71, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016 at University of Vermont Medical Center in Burlington.
She was born October 11, 1944 in Middlebury the daughter of Stanley and Lucille (Orvis) Smith.
She graduated from University of Vermont and she became a dental hygienist and worked for over 30 years for Dr John Viskup and Dr Gregory Maurer in Vergennes. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.
Predeceased by her husband William E. Munnett on November 20, 1989.
Sally is survived by her children Kerri, Kristina and Karin; a grandson Jace Stevenson, brother in law Peter Munnett; three sisters in law Mary Munnett, Barbara Munnett and Joan Smith; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Predeceased by sister Janet Dubois and brother Stanley O. Smith.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, July 12th at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes from 5 to 8 p.m. A mass of Christian burial will be celebrated 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 13th at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel in Charlotte. Interment will be in North Ferrisburgh Cemetery. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Addison County Special Olympics, 16 Gregory Drive, South Burlington, VT, or Daughters of American Revolution, Attn.
