Stuart Dickerson passed away on January 30, 2017 at home with family by his side he was born February 1, 1941 he leaves behind his wife of 51 years, Cleone (Jones) Dickerson, Daughter Audrey White and her husband Rick White of Ferrisburgh, Son Corey Dickerson of Hinesburgh, and 5 grandchildren Shon Dickerson and Michelle of Panton, Allandra Songer and Dustin of Shelburn, Justin Dickerson, Kaitlynn Dickerson, Matthew Dickerson and 2 great grandchildren Alexander Dickerson and Lily-Mae Dickerson. Also leaves behind Sister Janine Mitchell of Port Henry, NY. Leaves Several Nieces, nephews and aunts and uncles behind.
He was predeceased by his Mother Gertrude Lobdell, his father Spencer Dickerson, three brothers Douglas, Vincent, and Allen. Along with his great granddaughter Hailey Jade Dickerson.
He was a Navigator in the U.S. Navy for 4 years during the cuban crisis he worked at IBM for 30 years.
Visiting hours will be held on Friday, February 3rd at Brown-McClay Funeral Home in Vergennes from 5 to 8p.m. Burial will be at a later date. Any donations to be made to Addison County Home Health and Hospice, PO Box 754, Middlebury, VT 05753.
