Yvonne Many, 80, Middlebury, VT
Yvonne Many passed away on August 1, 2017 at her home surrounded by Angels.
Yvonne was born on June 13th, 1937 in Bridport, Vermont. The daughter of Avery and Mercedes Carl. After high school, she worked at the Chittenden Bank until she married Raymond Many on November 17, 1956. After raising their three children she returned to work as a bookkeeper at The Addison County Home Health until she retired.
Yvonne loved her home and family. She enjoyed knitting, solitaire and crossword puzzles. She had a strong faith and was a member of St Mary’s church in Middlebury.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Raymond Many; her daughter, Carol Rule and her husband Jeffery of Salisbury; her son, Jeffrey Many and his wife Kathy of Brandon; and daughter, Jill Many and her fiancé Jeff Laberge of Bristol. Yvonne is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Jonathan, Angela, Hannah, Caitlin, Morgan, Nathan, and Erin; 6 great-grandchildren, Lauren, Jayden, Rosalie, Torin, Colton and Ashton; 2 step-grandchildren, Leigh & Ryan; her siblings, Marlene, Winston, Donna and Sharon; and many nieces and nephews.
Yvonne was predeceased by her parents, Avery and Mercedes Carl and her brother, Waverly Carl.
A memorial service will be held at St. Mary’s Church in Middlebury, Vermont on Saturday, September 23rd at 11 a.m.
